Stevens’ inaugural Fall Festival is a multi-day community celebration for alumni, students, families, faculty and staff. Activities range from President Farvardin’s state of the university address, open houses and tours, performances and faculty presentations to athletic contests, Hoboken food crawl, carnival fun, movie nights and more!

Service Project

Tuesday, September 20

Students vs. Faculty Beach Volleyball
5 to 6 p.m. / Beach Volleyball Court, Humphrey’s Lawn
Take in the beach volleyball match of the century: students vs. faculty!

Women’s Soccer vs. TCNJ
7 to 9 p.m. / DeBaun Athletic Complex
Be there as we take on local rival TCNJ for in-state supremacy in women’s soccer.

Wednesday, September 21

Pep Rally
3:30 to 5 p.m. / Walker Patio
Come out to honor our fall sport teams before a busy week of action and prepare to cheer on our field hockey team later that evening vs. Drew University!

Field Hockey vs. Drew University
7 to 9 p.m. / DeBaun Athletic Complex
Support the Ducks as they battle the Drew Rangers in a key intrastate contest.

Thursday, September 22

Fall Fling
7 to 10 p.m. / Walker Gym
Enjoy an evening of dancing, food, refreshments, giveaways and more at the inaugural Fall Fling — the first student dance in the University Center Complex. Dress in your autumnal semiformal best! Free, student-only event. DuckLink RSVP required.

All Fall Festival guests and attendees should check-in upon arrival.

Campus Tour
2 p.m. / Meet at Ruesterholz Admissions Center
Tour the beautiful Stevens campus and take in all the exciting changes. Also great for families and prospective students. This tour includes the University Center Complex.

Library Historical Tours
2 p.m. / Meet at Edwin A. Stevens Building Front Steps
Enjoy a leisurely stroll around Castle Point led by archivists Leah Loscutoff and Ted Houghtaling. Learn about the historical significance of the university's iconic buildings — and how they shaped the landscape of Hoboken and Stevens. 

University Center Complex Tour
3 p.m. / Meet at University Center Complex Welcome Desk
See the interiors of the new University Center and Residential Towers and catch some amazing views along the way.

Happy Hour
4 p.m. / Babbio Patio (Rain location: Babbio Atrium)
Take in the beautiful view while enjoying cocktails and connecting with members of the Stevens community.

Musical Comedy Performance: Here I Go Again – The Music of the ’80s

Travel back to a time when video killed the radio star and girls just want to have fun! Presented by DeBaun PAC and Theta Alpha Phi and featuring our favorite songs from the 1980s.

Ducks After Dark: Camp Stevens
8 to 10 p.m. / Palmer Lawn and Humphreys Volleyball Court
Enjoy s’mores, snacks, outdoor games and more! Student-only event.

Broadway Tickets: Beetlejuice
8 p.m.
Take the family to Broadway! Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of an unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a ghost with a thing for stripes. Families enjoy a special group ticket price of $79 per person. Pre-purchase tickets and pick them up at Fall Festival check-in.

Taste test some of Hoboken's local bagel options for breakfast and cast a vote for your favorite. There's much controversy over which bagel is best!

Breakfast with the Deans and Academic Leadership

Meet the deans and academic leadership of Stevens' schools and college and learn more about their vision and goals.

State of the University

Order of the Engineer Induction Ceremony

Join us as we induct our first group of Stevens alumni into the Order of the Engineer — an association for graduate and professional engineers that, since 1970, emphasizes pride and responsibility in the engineering profession. Advanced registration necessary.

Fraternity and Sorority Open Houses
5 to 8 p.m. / Various locations
Designed for both students and alumni, learn about and engage — or re-engage — with Stevens' fraternity and sorority chapters. A schedule of specific chapter locations will be shared.

A Skyline View You Won’t Want to Miss
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. / Babbio Plaza
Gather together as the weekend reaches a glorious apex and witness the Empire State Building’s tower lights shining in “Stevens red.” Celebrate with dessert, music, selfies and red-themed festivities and fun!
